Trust your gut. It always has your best interest at heart.
Growing up in small towns my whole life, I have lived all over Ontario. As a nature lover, spending much of my time outdoors, I pursued a joint major in Biology and Environmental Science at beautiful Trent University in the scenic Kawartha Lakes. I have a passion for environmental responsibility and preserving our precious green space. Today, I live in Toronto and can’t get enough of this city. The path that led me to Andiamo has been windy, hilly, and delightfully unexpected and I’m thrilled to be working with such a great team. These days, you can usually find me chatting up a stranger on the streetcar, or slamming a tasty burger (occasionally at the same time).

I’m a lover of other people cooking for me. I’m passionate about the environment. I’m an enthusiastic DIY wannabe. I’m all aboot Canada – hockey, the sugar bush, Algonquin Park and canoeing. I’m a fan of puns, The Office, and big on birthdays.
I think that everyone should know how to talk to people they don’t know. It takes practice. Among many benefits, talking to strangers builds confidence, helps you to learn other opinions outside your circle and helps to build empathy towards others. You’ll be amazed what you can learn from random people you meet.
Chris Hatfield, of course. How great would it be to geek out about space, play guitar, and sing folk songs with an astronaut? Pretty darn great.
I wanted to be a singer. However, at the age of 5 the only song I knew all the lyrics to was O’ Canada, so I would perform our national anthem nightly to my parents and little sister before bed.
